today I choose to place Jesus above the temporary things of this life

I can’t even explain to you how relevant this is to me right now (hence why it came straight from my heart). I feel like lately I’ve making excuses about getting into God’s word because I’m “too busy” or “there isn’t enough time in the day”
.
.
guess what? we as humans can always find time to prioritize something that we want to prioritize! this doesn’t mean that we aren’t crazy busy or have a lot on our plate, just that we CAN find 15 minutes of our day to sit and spend with Jesus.

.
It’s funny because I know how refreshed I feel after spending time with God, yet sometimes I prioritize other things before doing so.
.
.
However, I believe that it’s a personal, daily choice to say “today, I’m going to find time to spend time with God, even if that means I don’t have time to scroll through social media during my off time, or watch that next episode on Netflix”

I encourage you (and myself) to take 10-15 minutes tonight to sit in the presence of the Lord ✨ ...
