'The Tide is High'

The tide is high, but I'm holding on.
Have you noticed?
Environmental concerns are now in the headlines pretty much every single day.
There are two ways of looking at this:
First is that we've let things get so bad that we can no longer ignore what we are doing to our world.
And second is that people are waking up to how much we depend on a healthy planet for our health, happiness and prosperity.
Last year, by far the worst thing about all the environmental news stories I was reading (all hidden deep down in the science and environment section), was that no one else was talking about it.
Not in the media anyway. It felt like we were going to sleepwalk into the apocalypse. Madness.
But now it's everywhere. Finally going mainstream, and no longer an option to ignore.
The solutions are out there and the world is at last waking up. That's the glimmer of hope which keeps me holding on.
It's still such a beautiful World.
What are you doing to reconnect with it?
What are you doing to protect it? ...
