At long last! Here is the impromptu ✨Bergamot & Whimsy✨ soap I made for this November's #soapchallengeclub , my second attempt. This month we learned how to embed soap curl designs. I didn't start with much of a plan like I probably should have, just started curling and went with it.
I used the supplied soap curls recipe for my first batch, and maybe oven-processed a little too long, the curls weren't as flexible and crumbled easily. I made curls in the second batch from a coconut milk soap, and it worked very well. Before I knew it, I had rolled up a whole mold full of curls!
The coconut milk soap is made with activated charcoal, purple Brazilian clay, and blend of bergamot, rosemary, lavender, with the smallest bit of patchouli for base notes.
You can see the first batch and some of the processes in the other photos in this post. Oh, and the wall fixture that inspired my soap curl shape. Thanks for watching my learning #experiments !
