The gym can be an intimidating place to walk into as a first timer, beginner, or even as someone with experience.⁣

Personally, I LOVE my ‘me time’ at the gym. As soon as my headphones go in all the craziness of the day, the people around me, EVERYTHING is blocked out..seriously, ask people who train at @kauaiathletic who try to say hello or get my attention😂 I’m completely in my own world🤦🏼‍♀️ ⁣

BUT..I also really enjoy training with others! There is so much to learn from other trainers and experienced ‘gym-goers’. Plus you get to share conversation and laughs! ⁣

One of the amazing things about fitness is that there’s something for everybody! From going to a Body Pump or Zumba class with some friends, to training one on one with a personal trainer, there’s a fit for each individual! ⁣
⁣
With the new year right around the corner, there’s no better time to get outside of your comfort zone. Our comfort zone is a beautiful place, but GROWTH is not found in comfort. The courage to begin is the first step! ⁣

How will you harness the emotions that come in times of distress? 
Pain is temporary, and it doesn’t matter how long it lasts, but something else will take its place. 
Dig deep and embrace your pain; get close to it and let it be the driving force to get to the other side of it. You’re already in pain, why not get a reward from it?

You hold the key to picking yourself back up. Use that pain to your advantage because if you don’t, you’ll stay living in pain.

Go be brave and get to the other side of it. Even if it’s one step at a time.

La pregunta no es si tienes dolor; eso es un hecho. La pregunta que te voy a hacer hoy es ¿qué harás con ese dolor? ¿Cómo aprovecharás las emociones que vienen en tiempos de angustia? 
El dolor es temporal y no importa cuánto dure, pero algo más ocupará su lugar. Profundiza y abraza tu dolor; acércate y deja que sea la fuerza impulsora para llegar al otro lado. Ya estás sufriendo, ¿por qué no obtienes una recompensa?

Biztonság érzés... és az, hogy tudod/elhiszed, hogy megtudod csinálni. .
Lassan már 20 éve sportolok. A 20 év alatt sok mindent elsajátítottam és kialakult egy testtudat, még is folyton szembesülök azzal a ténnyel, hogy szükségem van egy edzőre egy segítségre, hogy valaki mellettem álljon. Ez legyen egy rúdtánc vagy konditermi edzés. Egy edzőnek is kell egy edző. Én is ember vagyok nekem is fontos az, hogy valaki biztasson és biztonságba érezzem magam az edzések alatt. Attól függetlenül, hogy ez a szakmám. 
A mai órán vettünk egy új elemet. Segítséggel ment, ha ott állt mellettem az edzőm ment. De ahogy elment, hogy másnak segítsen egyszerűen képtelen voltam megcsinálni. Aztán oda hívott egy lányt, hogy segítsen nekem. A lánynak az volt a feladata, hogy csak rakja a hátamhoz a kezét. Jeee sikerült💪 megtudtam csinálni😀 pedig picit sem segített. De a biztonságérzet megvolt . .
Tanulság: 
Hidd el, hogy megtudod csinálni!
Képes vagy rá ! 
Hisz miért ne menne ? 
A félelmeink gátolnak minket sok mindenben, de ha ezeket leküzdjük akkor bármit véghez tudunk vinni. .

Throwback to summer shredz and feeling like a lean bean. Even though I stay pretty lean year round, I’d say this was nearly the leanest I’ve been while still pushing heavy weight in the gym.

The difference between a casual lean physique and a very shredded one is planning. I would meal prep in the summer due to 💰being tight while I was looking for jobs to pay my rent lol... now, I think I have Chipotle and eat out a lot more (so more calories from eating out — lots of unnecessary fats) and I’ve most likely went up about 2% in BF — but still lean, which I’m completely happy with.

If you want your body composition to change, you need to plan accordingly. You can’t just wing it if you want a SPECIFIC look. It’s a science, and it’s all about knowing how manipulate variables in your training and your diet to get your desired look... and I think that’s pretty dope #KinesiologyfortheWin 🔥
